The Ladies Auxiliary promotes the spiritual, social, intellectual and economic welfare of its members; inculcates a steadfast conviction relating the proper place of women in society in safeguarding the religious, civil and economic rights of all Christians; and stands ready at all times to give our service to the Knights of Columbus.
This Ladies Auxiliary is sponsored by Our Lady of the Lakes, Council Number 6318 of the Knights of Columbus. Its primary goal and basic purpose is to come together in fellowship and provide organized assistance to the Council and the Council’s spiritual, charitable, social and fundraising programs.
The Ladies Auxiliary holds regular meetings on the fourth Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m. (unless that day conflicts with a holiday) at Our Lady of the Lakes Council, 10 Fair Street, Carmel, New York. All are welcome.
- Next Regular Meeting: Thursday, September 27, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. in our Council Hall.
- Sunday Cash Bingo: September 23, October 28, November 18, and December 9. Doors open at 1 p.m., First game begins promptly at 2 p.m. All proceeds go to benefit local charities.
- Murder Mystery Dinner Theater: Saturday, October 20, 6:30 p.m. $50 for dinner (catered by Luigi's Famiglia Cucina), "Homestyle Homicide" comedy mystery show, and a drink (beer or wine). Cash bar.
- Penny Social: Sunday, December 2 - doors open at noon.

On December 26, 2016, the Ladies Auxiliary once again delivered the fruits of a very successful drive to collect much needed supplies for Rosary Hill Home, which provides palliative care to those suffering from terminal cancer. As before, they were received with joy and gratitude from the Dominican Sisters, staff, residents and their families.

On June 11, 2015, the Ladies Auxiliary held our annual election of officers. The list of new officers for the 2015-16 fraternal year appears above this News section. Pictured below are the officers and members enjoying a wonderful pot-luck dinner after the elections and meeting.
On Friday, May 29, 2015, the Ladies Auxiliary held a very succesful "Paint and Sip Party" fundraiser, where everybody created their own masterpiece while enjoying wine, cheese, and lots of laughs. Join us for our next event!
